Dr. Aline Andrey Urias

After completing her studies in Brazil and obtaining her medical degree in 2006, Dr. Andrey Urias spent a year and a half as an intern in the Digestive Surgery Department of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG). In 2008, she continued her training in gynecology and obstetrics at the Geneva Maternity Hospital (HUG). In 2012, she took up her first position as Head of Clinic at the Hôpital du Jura. The following year, she obtained the post-graduate title of Specialist FMH in Gynecology and Obstetrics with advanced operative training (gynecological surgery).

She subsequently perfected her knowledge of cervico-vaginal and vulvar pathologies by completing an Inter-University Diploma organized jointly by the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne. Dr. Andrey also perfected her surgical knowledge with an Inter-University Diploma in Gynecological Laparoscopy in Clermont-Ferrand, France, in 2012.

From 2013 to 2019, Dr. Andrey Urias will be practicing as Chief of Clinic specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the HUG Maternity Hospital. In addition, for two and a half years, thanks to a scholarship from the HUG, she perfected her skills in Breast and Oncoplastic Surgery during a fellowship in the United Kingdom, at the Cardiff Breast Centre and Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
